About Global talent competitiveness index (GTCI)

The Global talent competitiveness index measures the competitiveness of a country based on quality of talent it can produce, attract and retain. In other words it focuses on role of talent growth in improving a country’s competitiveness. This report is published every year. The GITC 2014 list was vastly dominated by the European countries with 14 nations from Europe in top 20. INSEAD’s Global Innovation Index has now become a globally recognized benchmarking publication in the area of innovation and is launched annually. The GTCI aims to gain the same status in this and coming years through its annual report.
